GLASGOW - June 17, 2012 - Today TinyPixel is proud to announce the release of SnapNest 2.0 to the iOS AppStore. SnapNest for the iPhone & iPad is a real-time photo discovery app for Twitter. Streaming live photos as they're taken around the world.
"This new version of SnapNest is incredibly exciting, the completely new UI is a joy to use." said Joe Finnigan, SnapNest's Developer. "I think our users are going to love our great new Social, Location and Favourites features. The ability to see a live stream of photos from any event or anywhere in the world is incredibly powerful and useful."
SnapNest 2.0 has an entirely redesigned interface, built around making it easier and faster to find great photos. Featured events are now available on the home screen, this allows us to give users easy access to breaking news or to follow along with live events.
The new Social view shows you all of the photos as they're taken by the people you follow on Twitter. This is great for seeing what your friends are up to, and you're sure to never miss a photo from your favourite celebrity or band!
With 2.0 we've vastly improved location search, our nearby search is now more accurate and we've added the ability to find photos from any other location in the world. Users can enter a city, town or country to see photos from that region. You can even use a full address or postcode and see what is happening nearby.
Saved searches is also a new feature, allowing the user to bookmark their most visited streams for easy access. Users can also now favourite photos they find and keep in them in their favourites collection.
SnapNest is available on iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch.
Users can upgrade to SnapNest Pro via an In-App purchase which costs only £1.49 / $1.99
